Hi,
first I like to thank everyone for this amazing work you all do. Im
really impressed of that good work. Thx
Now to my problem:
I used the recent DVB driver and installed everything. To get the IR
support Iinstalled all, like described in the apps/av7110_loadkeys
directory.
I installed the av7110_ir module with debug flags on, to see everything
in syslog.
When I use the ORIGINAL Hauppauge RC everything works fine. And I can see
every keypress.
But as everybody knows it has not enough buttons.
So I tried other remote controls (3 others) but only 1 remote was useable.
Now my questions is.
Why do other remote controls produce no output ?
Has this something to do with the av7110_loadkeys programm and what kind of
keymap file I use ? (tried other ones but with no success with my 3
remote controls)
How can I produce keymapfiles for the used RC ?
Why isnt it possible to output just the codes from the RCs in syslog
without the keymaps ?
Why do I get only the output from the original hauppauge RC ?
Am I doing something wrong (like everytime ? ;)
Hope I read all FAQ Howtos and the whole mailinglists from VDR and DVB.
If not kick me out of the list ;)
Any suggestions or help ?
Thx
Jörg Esser
P.S. Happy hacking !
