You are talking about a Sigma Design Hollywood+ card (an MPEG2 decoder
card), aren't you ?

If you just want to watch TV, record and cut some movies and ...what do
you think about VDR (Video Disk Recorder - just google for it). The (nearly
stable) developer version together with the DXR3/Hollywood+-plugin could
match all your needs.
