I have asked Mark (its his computer and card) to confirm this.

I am sorry - I should have mentioned:  We are trying to tune a UHF
channel.  I assume that if this card is going to work at all in
Australia then UHF channels should be the simplest to get working.  If
they work then we can try VHF as well.  There are places in Australia
where DVB will only be broadcast on UHF so a card with non-working VHF
is still useful as long as UHF works.
