okay, i will try it and hope that it will work.

i already tried evtest and av7110_ir_debug on saturday, and it gave me
NOTHING for my philips RC. but the hauppauge RC was working.

thats why i'am  not sure if your changes in av7110_ir.c (Rev. 1.8) will
solve the problem..

P.S.: i use vdr+remote plugin. and i like it very much. i will upgrade
tonight.
