[linux-dvb] US HDTV cards

Hi All,

Some HDTV tuner cards are now available in the US, which appear to be similar to DVB cards, so I am wondering if anyone here has some thoughts on using the DVB drivers with HD cards.

The card I have, the FusionHDTV, is based on the bt878 chip, with a Philips NTSC/ATSC tuner, and an Oren demodulator.  ( http://www.dvico.com/products_mul_hd.html )

I have used the bttv driver, and it recognizes the bt878, but doesn\'t display anything.

Are any DVB cards based on similar hardware?  Any chance of saving an ATSC stream to disk with this card using DVB drivers?
