[linux-dvb] Re: US HDTV cards



If you want HD in the US and want it DVB, you'll want to get one of these 
cards supported by the driver that say dvb.  To receive HDTV from DIsh 
Network you'll need an 8PSK demodulator which I have not been able to find 
and I don't think exists.

I don't know whether the DVB/S can display a 4:2:2 stream natively, 
(unrelated) but those exist in DVB for you as well.

As far as an ATSC driver, I don't think these drivers will help you, and 
that will help you only for OTA broadcasts.
