[linux-dvb] confused

Hi,

Here is what I want to do.

I have an expressvu satellite system (same equipment as direct tv).

I would like to build a linux receiver for DVR that would also support HDTV, 
and use the signal from the satellite.


Is this possible?  how can I do this?
