<nod> It wouldn't be difficult. UHF 21 -> 69 with three offsets per 
channel gives only 144 actual frequencies that UK digital television can 
be broadcast on.

The scan would be faster if, for example, the search list is ordered by 
ERP of each transmitter, so major players like Crystal Palace, Winter 
Hill, Durris, Emley Moor, Rowridge, Divis, etc. would be scanned first, 
and then the rest...
