[linux-dvb] Also getting the 'gotcha' with the scan program and general questions

I have also just bought a nova-t card and have got it working using the
latest linuxtv drivers. The scan prgram produces the wrong apid numbers
for me as well so I filled them in via trial and error. I do have a
couple of quesitons though if anyone can help.

Is it possible to get the nova-t working with vdr when it is the only dvb
card in the system using mplayer as the output?

What are peoples opinions on the best programs to use with just the
budget card. At the moment changing channels for me involves using tzap
and then dvbstream with the vpid and apid explicitly typed in and the
output piped to a file and then to mplayer (to allow rewinding the feed).
This approach is not what I was (basically a tivo) and I wonder if anyone
has come up witha good set of utilities for using with just the budget
card.

Cheers all
