As I was informed by Jeremy Hall <jhall@maoz.com> in a private email,
these are "echostar switch (legacy) commands", intorduced by him in
a patch to the VDR source.

Do you (Sameer) actually use such a switch?
If not, please try leaving out these additional commands, and
expecially use a VDR version that doesn't contain the "echostar"
patch.
