I guess for many cable only (may be also for DVB-T) users  (not  a lot of interesting
TV stations in cable net)
would love to get support for analogue muodules.

As a workaround you could use any TV-PCI card and  a KFIR board if you want to have
mpeg2 hardware encoding. If you have a Pentium 4 > 2GHz you can do mpeg2 software
encoding ...
