[vdr] Re: Poll: DVB-C Analogue-Module - Do you want driver support?
Hi there,
i agree ! As a DBV-C user I really would prefer support of analog tv
aswell. Wether it is only for a Siemens Card including the module or
like Andreas Kool started it as a separate plugin! But, if the driver
would provide the Analog signal as device, it would be more easy for
Klaus, rihgt?
Regards,
Alex

support?
I guess for many cable only (may be also for DVB-T) users (not a lot
of interesting
TV stations in cable net)
would love to get support for analogue muodules.
As a workaround you could use any TV-PCI card and a KFIR board if you
want to have
mpeg2 hardware encoding. If you have a Pentium 4 > 2GHz you can do mpeg2
software
encoding ...
