Uhm, Andreas, you are aware of the open source principles?
Don't ask someone to do it, do it yourself or pay someone to do it.

Holger and the other guys at Convergence developed the driver because
their company base their products/services on DVB for Linux. They just
don't need the support for the analog module. So if you want this module
to be supported, either do it yourself, ask some other developer if he
would like to do this in his spare time or pay the guys at Convergence
to do this as part of their job.

Just starting a poll or accusing the developers to ignore user wishes
buys you nothing.
