Hello Klaus,
as i wrote on top i had(have) a vdr ver. 1.0.4 running
and i thought there it's necessary to do time-shifting
to have such a setup.
(a low budget with dish on it and full-featured to watch)

So, if you say the low-budget card is no more needed,
i can connect a second dish and record more films at the same time?
Or is it recommended to use the old setup with both cards
for a better stability of the system? (as Emil wrote)

Harry
