[vdr] remote two function toggle button

Hi!
I would like to have two functions on one button.. Like a play/pause button,
that toggles between these to functions.
Is this very hard to acomplish?
I would guess one would have to change the source code in some way to do
this. Is there anyone that has done this and can supply some example code
for this?
