Well, I guess no matter what the original VDR would look like, there
would _always_ be patches out there ;-)

I will implement the autopid functionality in version 1.3.x.
However, this will not simply be "applying the patch". There have
to be some changes in handling the section data first, so that
plugins can also have access to any section data they want to
process.

AC3overDVB is a different story, since I don't do AC3 myself.
Besides, part of this should IMHO be solved in the driver/firmware, not
in the applications.
