[vdr] vdr and xine

I have a problem:

to get a vdr-xine plugin I had to build a patched xine-lib from source.
This xine-lib doesn't play live at the same smooth rate as the xine-lib
I was using previously which came from livna yum repository for Fedora
Core 1.

When I build the plugin vdr was not streaming video to it...

Is there an easier way to use my working Fedora Xine rpms and have a
plugin for vdr?
