[vdr] vdr-1.3.20 and DD ( no sound )

Kernel 2.4.23, DVB-driver 2005-02-02 Root and Dpram from Werner Fink's 
patched driver dvb-ttpci-01.fw-261d, also tested with untouched 2004-12-26 
driver.

Audio meny works in all cases. ( Broken in 1.3.19 )

My problem is that I still don't get any sound when switching to DD 2.0. 
Reciever detects ok but no sound at all. When replaying DD 5.1 material ( 
recorded under 1.3.19 ), reciever can't 'lock' completely to 5.1. It shows 
5.1 in display and led goes on. It flips to and from this mode and the 
recording is replayed choppy/wrong speed ( no sound ). Will try with another 
reciever later. ( Reciever is a Sony STR-DB830 QS )

I would be very happy if Klaus or Werner could describe what has to be done 
to send DD-coded material from the DVB card. That is which parts needs to be 
patched. Do the firmware really needs the patch Werner has done _togheter_ 
with 1.3.20 version. What's really bugging me is that I get the same result 
with _both_ above mentioned drivers.

As I understand it, the problem is that the DVB card isn't able to send a 
standard AC3/DD stream and that it has to be ancapsulated in some kind of 
header/frame. Is that correct?

Where can I find more info about headers/packaging etc concerning DD and PCM 
streams.
