I just got a second DVB-S card for my
VDR.
Nexus-S FF + Technisat Skystar II Rev
2.6
I use latest CVS dvb-kernel. Before I got the
Skystar II everything worked fine. I tested with vdr-1.3.17 and the new
1.3.20.
The problem is that about every third recording VDR
does an emergency exit. The logs tell that VDR waits about 30 seconds
for data and then reports VIDEO DATA STREAM BROKEN and does an emergence
exit.
I have live TV within that 30 seconds but the
recording is empty.
After VDR is back again the automatic timer starts
and after 30 seconds the same thing.
When trying to unload the skystar2 module the
machine hangs completly (kernel panic). Only
rebooting helps.
When recording works I can use the two card system
and watch parallel on different transponders, so the system basically works. I
tried to use the old skystar driver without the nxt2002 frontend but it's the
same.
