Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T USB
A USB 1.1 DVB-T device designed by TechnoTrend and sold by Hauppauge.
It is supported under Linux.
Overview/Features
Based on a Texas Instruments DSP that remultiplexes the stream into a TechnoTrend-proprietary USB packet format and sends it as Isochronous USB Stream over the USB Bus.
Due to the limited USB 1.1 Bus Bandwidth of about 12MBit only selected PIDs can get transferred over the USB Bus to the Host. Some High-Bandwidth Transponders don't work, HDTV receiption is not possible.

Making it Work
Requires a Firmware that needs to get peeled out of the Windows Driver.
A similiar DVB-S device is available, the Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S USB.
Since May 2005 (or so) there's a new Nova-T USB2 which works! (see below)

New Version

Newer Version Oct. 2006
The newest WinTV NOVA-T USB2 has a different USB ID. The former devices had 9300 & 9301 (for cold and warm state) and the new devices have 7050, 7070 and perhaps 7051. They work with the newest (May 2008) drivers, you maybe have to compile the current CVS yourself.
