OK, here goes:

We would have to release the linux drivers as an x86 executable because of
the NDA restrictions that we mentioned.

The tuner module is an ALPS TDED type (only just introduced). The
demodulator is a NextWave (now ATI) NXT 6000 COFDM demodulator operating in
8-bit parallel data out mode. The PCI interface device is the well-known
Conexant Fusion 878a operating as an analogue video/audio sink and in High
Speed GPIO mode.

The remote control has dedicated discrete hardware on the boards to handle
interfacing to the PCI INT line.

...

We are planning a DVB-S version of our card, but the release date is being
kept close to the developers' chests right now. However, we have no plans to
introduce a card with an integrated MPEG-II decoder for several reasons, not
least of which is additional cost to the consumer.

**********************************************************************

I thought I might as well ask about satellite and MPEG-2 hardware at the
same time! :-)
