Hi, I'll still go ahead and do more debugging myself.. looking forward
to testing something :)

Some more progress: I know now that the kernel is entering the 
av7110/fidbirq() just before the crash.

It'll take me a wee while to get more tracing in; got to find a serial
cable for console-over-serial debugging.
