Sure %post can do this if that modules.conf works for all cards. What I had in 
mind was, how to handle an arm crash ? Till now I reloaded the driver to 
reset the arm. Is there a way to reset the arm without it ?

Yes I know. For mandrake i have an example spec here to do so. Currently I 
have some other things to do, but I will come back when I'm on it .
