I tried to get the anaog module to work with XaW TV and DVB Driver 05072003

syslog tells me

kernel: av7110(0): DVB-C analog module detected, initializing MSP3400

so the module has been found,

but there are only the tuner and inputs of my Hauppauge WinTV on /dev/video0 available
and the dvb device of my FSC DVB-C on /dev/video1.

cana tune the analog channels of the wintv and the digital channels of the  DVB-C  but not the analog ones of the module.

Any idea whats wrong ???

I think there is no function to bring it to screen. With the windows-driver
you can?t bring it to screen, too.
How i know, you can only make software mpeg-encoding like in the solution of
Andreas Kool in his
analogtv-modul, but the analogtv-module can?t handle the analogmodule of
the card now. However, you won?t have any sound with the analog-module,
because the driver
hasn?implemented sound yet.
    

vdr-analogTV-0.8.3 does include support for the analog-module, but its
useless at the moment because the grabbing-functions of the analog-module
driver are broken :-(

I'm still waiting for a better version of dvb-kernel ...

And yes, you are right, sound is'nt implemented yet :-(
