It's a limitation of the hardware. It was never designed to do such things and so it's almost 
impossible to have two independent streams in different directions (live from sat to 
harddisk and replay from harddisk to tv-out). There are rumours that it might be possible, 
but i think it is a timing and buffering issue and would maybe involve other 
problems/disadvantages (-> no more memory for OSD for example). The developers of 
the Windows-Software WinDVBlive claim to be working on timeshift with a single card...
