Hi all + Werner,
I also have problems replaying old recordings with vdr 1.3.20.

The are replayed as PCM, only.

When replaying them with vdr-1.3.15 + AC3overDBV or trying test_av_play, 
my receiver plays them as 5.1 or 2.0 respectively. All the above is done 
with formware 261d from cvs.

I don't have any stutterig, though.
