But note that in such cases you will AFAIK need a graphics card that
has a video-out in order to overlay the video with the OSD. The thing I
like about the DVB cards from Siemens, Technotrend and the like is that
they have their _own_ OSD capabilities - limited in color depth though
and with video artefacts in replay mode, but at least I don't have to
hassle with video cards and looping the video signal through them.
You just plug in the DVB card and are ready to go.
