[PATCH] Priority of transfer-mode should not be -1

Hi! The transfer-mode uses always priority -1. That presents a problem: If I connect to that vdr using streamdev, it switches the first budget device off from the multiplex transfered to the FF card, although there is a second identical budget device available. Also, if I had DVB-S FF and only one DVB-T budget and had a DVB-T recording with priority 10 and Primary Limit at 20, live DVB-T video would (wouldn't it?) be severed. VDR constantly tries to change transponder frequency

Hi! VDR constantly changes the frequency of one multiplex in DVB-T. Here's an example: Correct: Urheilukanava;Suomen Urheilutelevisio Oy:770000000:C23D23M64B8T8G8Y0:T:27500:417+130:673=fin:929:0:113:8438:12289:0 But then VDR decides to change it: Dec 29 18:32:48 delta vdr[18069]: changing transponder data of channel 22 from T:770000000:0:3:0:2:2:2:1 to T:674000000:0:3:0:2:2:2:1 And then of course the channels stop being watchable. Default language not taken into account for replay

Hello, I have vdr-1.3.43 and when I replay a recording, the default language is not taken into account. So if I set the default language to French and view Arte, I hear the French audio track, as expected. VDR functionality request / query

I have been wondering if Green and Yellow buttons skip functionality could be configured but not been able to find anything related to it. I happen to have a HD videorecorder which has this skip functionality also but the backward skip is only 7 seconds while forward skip is 30 seconds. This is very handy when skipping adwerticements because the backward skip most often gets you where the program starts again. \\Kartsa No virus found in this outgoing message. Patch to use Skip keys (Next + Previous)

Hallo Since a long time I wondered when the very common skip keys are available in VDR. I believe these keys are available but unused on most remote controls. The attached patch adds to new keys kNext and kPrevious to keys.h and keys.c. The patch modifies vdr.c and menu.c to switch channel up/down whith the new keys. I also modified the mp3 and dvd plugins to use the new keys. I can provide patches therefor if the patch will be intergrated in VDR. As logical mp3 jumps between tracks. … [View More] When playing a DVD Next and Previous have the same meaning like 4 and 6 and jump between DVD chapters. That is the common behaviour of stand-alone DVD players. Very smart when replaying music DVDs because the different songs are DVD chapters. I can also imagine to use Prev/Next to navigate between cutting marks in a recording. ttxsubs plays live subtitles instead of recorded subtitles

Hello Since about vdr 1.3.39, I've noticed that ttxsubs shows recorded with tttxt subtitles will play subtitles from the program currently played (or recorded) by vdr. On the other hand, ttxtsubs correctly shows subtitles on live (i.e. not recorded ) programs. Has anyone noticed the same behavior ? Thanks

tv getting black while epg-scan

hi, some days ago, i upgraded to the newest version of vdr, now i have the problem, that when epg-scan starts it shows a message on the tv and then the tv is getting black and nothing happens. when i press some button for changing the channel the picture comes back. do you have any idea? olli

Hi everyone, hi Sascha, I would like to raise a discussion about VDR compliance with a wide range available STBs (Set-Top-Box) for IPTV carrier integration. The advantage of such compliance is obvious - low cost of STB. The cost of STB is in the range of 80-150 USD.
