I'm looking for a different epg plugin then yaepg -- I downloaded fepg and calendar plugins but neither compile clean with 1.3.40. Hopefully all the VPS and logo cache related bugs are now ironed out... 2006-04-02: Version 0.0.7 - Fixed VPS time string in event info menu (Thanks to Sebastian Kemper for reporting this one). - Updated theme files. - Added new setup options to de/activate plugin features. - Added event symbols into schedule menu and new indicator symbol into recordings menu. Running event symbol is based on Wareagle icon patch and thanks to Mikko Salo for providing other new symbols. - Fixed crash bug while flushing logo cache. - Fixed logo directory location after flushing logo cache. In some cases you are right. The left on is longer, but exists for displaying. Because it is readable. i.O. DaLiMan (Sorry for my bad english. I´m only a german) Hi DaLiMan, have a look at man 5 vdr "If a short name is available for this channel, it follows the full name and is delimited by a comma, as in RTL Television,RTL:... Network patch for xine-lib

Hi all, Does anyone have updated instructions for patching vdr-xine (>=.7.7) for network use? It would be nice if we could post them someplace more visible and in English. I'd be happy to clean up the instructions if someone can give me the details. I've already read: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.vdr/24833 but looking in : http://mitglied.lycos.de/peterweber69/xine/ there are a few more patches which I think might be needed i.e. "vdr-xine-lib-addr-from-mrl.diff" but I'm not sure. I do have vdr-xine 0.7.8/xine-ui working and talking to VDR, so I'm ready for the next step. Also, Reinhard, I know you probably get asked this alot, but when might we expect the network patches to be integrated with vdr-xine? Finally, thanks to *ALL* who have made any of this possible. I still marvel at it all. Thank you. CR.

Ich muß meine Antwort " something is wrong with the channel data." revidieren. Die Ausgabe der Kanalliste in Original ist OK. Nur im nordlichtsEPG-8a stimmt es nicht. cCannels.ShortName(bool) liefert im Original den channels.con Eintrag links vom Komma, im nordlichtsEPG-8a ist es der rechte. Hi Martin und Klaus, wenn Zwei sich irren, dann heißt daß immer noch nicht daß cChannels.Name() besser geeignet ist als cChannels.ShortName(bool). Wenn man sich die channels.conf ansieht oder die Bildschirmausgabe, dann kann der Realist mir nur zustimmen. Die Inhalte mit denen diese beiden Variablen versorgt werden sind vertauscht worden. osd->DrawText with \n and \t

Hello I have some questions about the DrawText from the osd. Is there any possibility to use newlines(\n) or tabs(\t)?
