[ANNOUNCE] AudioIndexer.patch for VDR-1.5.10 provides correct length for new radio recordings

Hi, you may have noticed that radio recordings report a length which is much larger than the actual playtime of the recording. This is a result of VDR generating an index entry for every audio frame, but audio frames provide most often only 24 ms of music while VDR's recording length calculation is based on 40 ms per index entry. Hi, I am having a hard time getting softdevice-0.4.0 working on my system (VDR 1.4.7, Ubuntu 7.10, X.org 7.2, ASUS A8N-VM CSM with onboard GeForce 6150, not quite clear which version of the NVIDIA kernel module is being used as it is all mashed into Ubuntu's linux-restricted-modules package - probably 1.0-9639). multi diseqc.conf setup

I have a nexus and am getting a usb tunner. I have 2 fixed dishes and a rotor. All the lnb's can feed 2 tunners, but clearly the lnb's on the rotor can only see 1 sat. It would be nice if there was a way to add more diseqc.conf or entries for same sats but alternate feeds so that when the dish is pointing at sat other then the ones the fixed dishes are, the other tunner can know to use those allowing tunning from more then 1 sat at a time.

Hi all! I have a problem with my VDR setup (c't VDR 6): I currently use a DVB-S TT 2.3 card as output device (no dish/LNB attached) and a DVB-T Nova-T as input device for UK freeview channels. That works just fine. Now I want to add a second Nova-T so I can record and watch something else at the same time. But as soon as the second DVB-T card is inside the machine, I cannot record anything anymore. I think there's two problems: 1. Missing sound..

Hi! I have my vdr with DVB-C cards at livingroom and now I build other vdr (without cards) to bedroom and use NFS to connect to video directory. When I try to play recordings, everything except SOUND is fine.. I get following error: ffmpeg_audio_dec: increasing buffer to 98304 to avoid overflow. ffmpeg_audio_dec: trying to open null codec audio_decoder: no plugin available to handle 'MPEG layer 2/3' What libs (or something) I miss? -- JJussi

softdevice 0.4.0 won't compile

./configure ends up with an ffmpeg not found error that tells me to check config.log. Here are the contents of config.log. Does anyone have one of these cards ? The online shop says delivery time is 1-3 business days so it seems they are actually available for purchase now. I'm thinking about getting one of these but was hoping that someone could answer a few questions about these cards: - Can I use this card in my own vdr box (with code from the Reelbox vdr tree) or will it only work in a Reelbox ? - How mature is the software for these cards (stability/image quality/features) ? Fast replay pauses playback for awhile

Hi, I have problem that when I do fast forward or rewind and return to normal speed by releasing the FF button, vdr pauses the replay for awhile. This pause lasts from 2 seconds up to 15 seconds. It's very very annoying, especially when I'm trying to edit recordings. Jumping with green and yellow buttons work ok. frontend 0 timed out while tuning to channel

Hi, I have a vdr with the plugins streamdev and xineliboutput running. I use the vdr-sxfe client on one computer to also get the menu and vlc as another client on a second computer. I have 2 DVB Cards, so I can see different things on the computers. Everything is working, but one Channel does not. I can see it with the vdr-sxfe client, but not with vlc.
