iptv plugin+CAM support

Hi I use iptv, but my iptv provider is planning to encode the signal, and distribute the access card. This plugin does not see the availability of encryption, and can not work with CAM. Any plan about integrate CAM support in iptv? Any suggestions? Best regards.

Skystar II rev 2.8 + dvbscan

Hi, sorry if i am making offtopic here, but at least i will try, i am sure someone could help me here. I have Technisat Skystar 2 PCI , rev 2.8 . It works sucessfuly ,usind v4l + drivers provided on technistar website. However dvbscan utility from dvb-apps hg does not works for me. *dvbscan returns unable to initialize frontend* . What is important, that dvb-apps older version, 1.1.1 from tar.gz works for me. However there is scan utility (not dvbscan) which generates channels.conf in format not recognizable for VDR 1.6. Can someone point me to solution? THANKS IN ADVANCE! David

Thanks Jan, 352x288 works well. Next problem - the sound is not working, all I get is a series of squeals and pops, nothing listenable. I thought it might be the processor overloaded again but that's running at about 60% of a 1Ghz processor most of which is probably transcode load. Timothy, The channels.conf entry I'm using is: Nasa TV;IPTV:1:IPTV|S0P0|EXT|iptvstream.sh|1:P:0:2:3:0:0:1:0:0:0 The URL line in iptvstream.sh is: URL=http://www.nasa.gov/55644main_NASATV_Windows.asx WIDTH=352 HEIGHT=288 And I've added "width=${WIDTH},height=${HEIGHT}" to the transcode statement. Hi, I'm using iptv 0.2.1 with vdr 0.1.7 to view NASA TV on a technotrend ff card. The displayed picture occupies only the top left ¼ of the screen. My objective is to get it full screen. I have tried scaling it in the iptvscreen.sh script in the vlc call but this asks too much of the processor and things get very jerky. I believe that the ff card is capable of scaling in hardware. VDR server & clients?

Hi everyone, I've seen lots of tutorials about VDR but one thing still isn't clear: can it or can it not have multiple clients watching different programs? I know it's impossible with xine-plugin to even have multiple streams, but xineliboutput seems to be able to output multiple streams over a network. The reason I'm asking this is because I've never actually had it work ... I'm always getting a "permission denied" message, along with it stating that the host's ip needs to be in my "svdrp.conf" file, which doesn't exist. My svdrphosts.conf file, on the other hand, is perfectly in order, but still it won't work.
