Audio problems with vdr-sxfe

Hi, on the weekend i tryed switching from vdr-1.7.0 to vdr-1.7.8. With vdr 1.7.8 there is a strange problem with vdr-xine. On ORF 1 HD and Arte HD i have no audio. On Anixe HD and the Astra demo channel audio is fine. On vdr 1.7.0 audio worked for ORF 1 HD and Arte HD, My aktual setup is : vdr 1.7.8 xine-vdpau rev 275 vdr-xine 0.9.3 cu Edgar /gimli) Hucek

vdr-sxfe cvs version segfault with vdr 1.7.8

I tried today use vdr-1.7.8 with the latest cvs version of xineliboutput but the client is segfaulting for me once it has found the vdr server. Is the same happening also for others or is there some known xineliboutput revision that works with 1.7.8? femon - stream information

Would it be hard to enhance the femon plugin to show some stream information, eg progressive v interlaced and stream resolution, eg 480p, 576p, 1080i etc? It already does some stream parsing as is, to determine mpeg2 vs h.264? -- -Tor

Hello, while installing my VDR, I noticed, that I always get a "staircase effect" on the terminal, supplied via "-t" switch, as soon as VDR is killed for the first time. Hi is it need to use bitstreamout plugin http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/bitstreamout/vdr-bitstreamout-… for vdr 178 and vdr-xine 093 ? Dear list, can a knowledgeable person please write how long the BIOS takes to do its stuff until the boot loader or the operating system boots. And just to have a random figure, how long does the operating system take to get to the login screen? I know it depends a lot on the hardware and software configuration, so please mention this to (storage, distribution, Linux kernel version). Thanks, Paul

Hello, i am lost with my TT Connect S2-3600. It used to work, but after a teporary switch to kernel 2.6.30 i can't get it up anymore. I am back on kernel 2.6.27.23 (SuSE) and the S2-Liplianin driver package. All modules built fine and are installed correctly. A FullFeatured card that is also there, works without problems.
