eepg plugin + UK freeviewHD = }?Ln??X??Z?Z

I have installed the EEPG plugin from the experimental branch; http://projects.vdr-developer.org/projects/plg-eepg/repository/show?rev=exp… (last revision was 26/08/2011), but I am getting gibberish in the EPG for the FreeviewHD channels. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks

DVB-S card for dedicated VDR box

Hello, I´ve bought an eagle Thin Client igel 5/3 564 5200 LX 1Ghz 256MB DDR 128MB CF (it has a PCI slot and consumes only 20W) I intend to add a bit of RAM and a 32GB CD card and use it as a dedicated VDR 1.7.x box for DVB-S channels (no HD channels needed) The box will be connected to a TV with VGA and hdmi inputs Could somebody recommend a cheap DVB-S PCI card that is fully linux compatible? (The box will be used in Europe alone) Many thanks, Art

xine with new AAC LATM support

Hi all, The AAC LATM patches have finally been merged to the xine-lib 1.2 branch. It still doesn't configure correctly for me on Fedora 15, but please feel free to test it out. Cheers, Chris

skystar HD 2, s2-liplianin e unicable su vdr

Hi, I have patched vdr with unicable and now i have a small problem: i can't tune to DVB-S2 channels. If I disable diseqc (and then unicable sub-system) it's all ok. If I tune to DVB-S channel it' all ok, i can use two card with unicable. My system is based on linux kernel 3.0.4 and vdr 1.7.21. My cards is a SkyStar HD 2 (module loaded mantis, stb6100, stb0899 and lnbp21, device 1ae4:0003) and a SkyStar 2 (module b2c2-flexcop-pci). Thank you, Mario.

[ANNOUNCE] Duplicates plugin

Hi, I wrote a simple plugin for listing duplicate recordings. User can also show recording descriptions and delete recordings. The plugin is based on the recording menu of VDR. Problems with ITV3 Recordings

Hi, in the same vein as this (mis-titled thread) VDR developer version 1.7.21, I have very often problems with recordings done on ITV3. Using ProjectX I cant see any real errors. Main problem is that audio and video quickly become out of sync. Yes I am still using a pretty old version of VDR 1.6.0. Plus all my DBV cards are now pretty old. Just wondering if any tools (DVBSNoop maybe) would tell me exactly what the problem is? I plan to update anyway as soon as the long nights come. Just wondering. Cheers Brian
