Vdr-xine and fresh xine-lib CVS problem

Hi, I'm trying again vdr-xine with new xine-lib cvs to see if some xv tv-out problems would have been fixed. I had to correct some rejects for expand.c but othervise the patch from vdr-xine 0.7.6 went in fine. Now I get this when xine starts ... load_plugins: plugin /usr/local/lib/xine/plugins/1.1.2/xineplug_inp_vdr.so found load_plugins: ignoring plugin VDR, wrong iface version 16 (should be 17) ... Vdr plugin really seems to be version 16 based on this (input_vdr.c) plugin_info_t xine_plugin_info[] = { /* type, API, "name", version, special_info, init_function */ { PLUGIN_INPUT, 16, "VDR", XINE_VERSION_CODE, NULL, init_class }, { PLUGIN_NONE, 0, "", 0, NULL, NULL } }; I wonder if just incrementing the version number would work :^) BR, Seppo

OSD partly unreadable

Hi! I got the Problem that after some hours running the OSD is partly unreadable. The messages "Schnitt gestartet", "Schnitt beendet" are not readable (only some Pixel are shown) and second the Progressbar shows normaly the name of the recording and the time index, the only thing I see then there is the green progressbar and the grey surrounding, and no Text at all. I'm using vdr-1.3.35 and linux-dvb.2004-12-26(->firmware 261d) with kernel 2.4.21. Does anybody know how to fix this. Fepg not compiling

mplayer/mp3 plugin

Hello I'm trying to setup a dvd player with vdr. As the dvd plugin doesn't seem to work well with dxr3, I switched to the mp3/mplayer plugin. But I'm quite confused about the configuration. I just want to play dvd's, nothing else for the moment. Does anyone have a simple config file ? Thanks Damien

Similar problem with the last VDR version. One Nexus and one Aver771. Starts OK, after some DVB-T watching, switching to SAT gives no picture, sometimes only the sound. Femon reports a strong signal but no signal lock. I use Suse 10 with stock kernel modules. Francesco

Can not run reliably VDR > 1.3.24

Hi, I have an up and running VDR 1.3.24. I have been trying to upgrade it to a newer version, but there is a feature/bug that prevents me from doing that. I have tried 1.3.34 and 1.3.37, but they seem not to run reliably. These versions start perfectly, all functionality is working, but when I leave them running, they lose completely sound and picture after some hours. OSD and menus are still working and you can even watch recordings, but live-TV does not show. There is nothing unusual in the logs. Even restart of VDR does not help - you have to reboot the whole computer. This does not happen with 1.3.24. I have not tried the versions between 1.3.24 and 1.3.34. My configuration: 0000:00:12.0 Multimedia controller: Sigma Designs, Inc. REALmagic Hollywood Plus DVD Decoder (rev 02) 0000:00:13.0 Network controller: Techsan Electronics Co Ltd B2C2 FlexCopII DVB chip / Technisat SkyStar2 DVB card (rev 02) Both em8300 and skystar2 have their own interrupts.
