vdr-burn chapter definition

Hi!, There is a way to define more than one chapter in a single recording to be create with the burn plugin? I have been tested the plugin and have created one chapter for each recording. Thanks. Leo.

AttachFilter need's a ref not an Object

Hello Today I tryed to play with vdr filters. After reading the PLUGIN.html I found a Problem. Example out of the Howto: cMyFilter Filter; cDevice::ActualDevice()->AttachFilter(Filter); The Problem is that AttachFilter(...) needs a Ref not an Object. So I made cMyFilter Filter; cDevice::ActualDevice()->AttachFilter(&Filter); That is not very nice. After a look at the VDR/pat.c I decide to use this piece of code: Filter = new cMyFilter(); cDevice::ActualDevice()->AttachFilter(Filter); Im not secure if I need to delete the Filter or if the cDevece handel it. Maybe Klaus can fix this in the next howto. Patrick

Nice to see that others think the same :) Unfortunatly I am no Programmer, so I am not really sure what to change. I really would not like "OK" to be mapped to something else. ConsistentMenu menu-button handeling in Plugins and built-in menus

Hallo, I find it quit uncomfortable that the Menu-button not allways does the same thing. It is very nice that one can use the Menu-button to close the OSD-menu. But this only works in the Built-in VDR menu's - in all Plugins (that I use) the plugin menu is closed and then the VDR main menu is opened. I would expect the same to happen in both cases. Only a minor thing but it would be nice if it was consistent :) Thanks to all contributing to this fine program. Greetings Christian Jacobsen

Changes : - Redesign core - beep function to run as non-root environment - Add -D_GNU_SOURCE (avoid building problems on woody/linvdr, reported by Markus Kahle) - Use threadsafe functions - Add -fPIC to CXXFLAGS (suggest by Thomas Schmidt) What is it : This little Plugin notify with a beep over the internal mainboard speaker, to selected VDR events. diseqc.conf for 4x1 switch

Hi, I have a Wavefrontier 55 with four heads. I cover 1W, S5E, S13E and S19.2E. Scanning the channels with the scan tool worked well. I used the scan -s switch 0-3 to cover all heads. (scan included in the Debian dvb-utils package) I collected 2717 channels or something from all 4 heads cating the results into VDR channels.conf I now try to configure the diseqc.conf in VDR. I found an example in an old mail from the maillist. http://linvdr.org/mailinglists/vdr/2003/03/msg00620.html With these settings I can get the channels from the 1W head, but when I pick a channel from S5E I get No signal. Do anyone have a similar setup and can give me a hint how to configure my diseqc.conf ? or can it be another problem ? SourceCaps patch for VDR 1.3.32.

The attached patch allows a VDR system with multiple cards to attach each card to an individual dish pointing at a different satellite. I have 3 DVB cards in my VDR system: 1) FF card connected to one output of LNB at a dish pointed at Astra 19.2E. 2) budget card connected to another output of LNB at a dish pointed at Astra 19.2E. 3) budget card connected to output of LNB at a dish pointed at Eutelsat 13.0E. I am using the following entries for that in my setup.conf: SourceCaps = 1 S19.2E SourceCaps = 2 S19.2E SourceCaps = 3 S13.0E

VDR with dual card setup (only one card records)

I had vdr setup with 3 cards (dvb-c and 2*dvb-t) and everything worked fine I could record 2 different bundles at same time with dvb-t cards. The dvb-c card is full dvb card with decoder dvb-t cards (without decoders) are Philips TDA10045H DVB-T type:2 (Philips Semiconductors SAA7146) Hauppauge Nova-T DVB-T type:2 (Conexant CX23880/1/2/3 PCI Video and Audio Decoder) Of cource I had to mess with working system :) and problem that I now have appeared when I decided to take out the dvb-c card and try to record just with 2 dvb-t cards so that machine is just headless recording box.
