Can anybody else help me with this? :(

Hmmm, is that the right patch that you linked to?
It appears to fix an I-frame detection problem and not a picture start code problem. (The patch fails on vdr 1.7.17, but it looks like it belongs inside the if statement for the picture start code [ie. it only executes that code after the start code was detected)

Did you try this patch ?

We have the same kind of problem in France, picture start code equal zero and not 1 as define in mpeg standard

I'm trying to record from an MPEG-2 stream and I'm getting an error "ERROR: video data stream broken".
I've narrowed down the problem to remux.c where it's looking for the Picture Start Code (0x00000100) and it's never finding it so it's timing out. I'm not exactly sure why this is happening since everything works fine in other DVB applications, etc.
I've also applied Klaus's frame detection patch (from March 20th?) and it didn't help but here was my stderr output: /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// ///// ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Delta = 1501 FPS = 59.94 FPPU = 0 NF = 0 /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// /// /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// ////////////////////////
Can anybody give me a hand?
Thanks.
