As far as I can see this is supposed to make MPlayer constantly print current position. For this there is already the get_percent_pos slave command. So, patch rejected.

MPlayer plugins is already using get_percent_pos, but obviously this doesn't works for all file formats. So the slavemode patch is the second best solution for now, although this values are incorrect sometimes as well.
