Hello,
to my understanding of the standard, the status 2 shall be used to set the recording device into a state, in which a recording can start immediately (e.g. power up the harddisk). The recording itself shall start on status 4. In my special case I now have advertisments at the beginning of the recording, which were not recorded when status 2 was not used.
