I think it's enough to say that if you use 2.6 Kernels the DVBDIR should be expanded to [..]/DVB/linux
Personally I'm still running kernel 2.4.20 and the DVB driver, and that will most likely be the platform I'll be using when I release version 1.4.
:) as you like ..... (NPTL, 2.6 and stuff like that you will face in future :) )
