You should fix these errors.
No graphical window is opened. The vdr program doesn't stop.
What do you expect? vdr operates on the tv output of the full-featured card. Just connect your tv set to the video output of your Nexus card.

Now I've fixed those problems about themes and lirc. But my Nexus card doesn't have a tv-out plug.
Is it a Nova then?
Otherwise, most Nexus have internal jumper blocks where the RGB signal is available. If you are a little bit in soldering it should be possible to build a Scart adapter.
