I've increased the above constant for simplicity just to 50000 for testing and the issue is gone at least for audio recordings, but I haven't tested the change with mp3 plugin yet.
Sorry for the delay, today I had time to try out your suggestion. This fixed the issue in radio recordings - the mp3 plugin still has this issue. Nevertheless thank you!
