vdr-sxfe provides a media player based on xinelib with an access to blu-ray (including menu support)

Yep I did know about these, but XBMC provides a much richer experience for DVD, Blu-ray playback. e.g., cataloguing and display of a library, automatic display framerate switching etc.
I thought blu-ray is dead format not supported by Linux movie players. Does XBMC support it somehow?
