thanks! Sorry for my late feedback. I've changed the pin-plugin patch so it's now using the aux field in xml format. I hope that's compatible to other usages.

epgsearch follows vdradmin and adds a section <epgsearch>...</epgsearch> to the aux field, but keeps all before <epgsearch> and all after </epgsearch>. So there should be no conflicts with other tools.
