Hello,
from the private emails I received there is two solutions :
* http://bigpatch.vdr-developer.org/ which contains the sourcecaps patch but at least for me it crash my vdr VERY often...
* The patch for vdr-1.3.36 still apply to 1.3.47 and can be found on this list archive or from gentoo portage.
The second solution works really good for me.
