How shall I replace this libvdr....
If Ubuntu does not provide a version of xineliboutput that is compatible with version 1.5.x or 1.6.0 of VDR, you could compile one yourself. You can get the most recent version from cvs:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@xineliboutput.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/xineliboutput co vdr-xineliboutput
