the upgrade was relatively painless.
The gain of 2.6 is, that USB(DVB and Storage) is much better supported, and the DVB drivers including DVB-T are part of the kernel!
Now let's wait if the box is stable now...
I use vdr 1.2.6 with 2.6.11 compiled by Suse/Novell (9.3). The dvb-drivers are more stable than in earlier versions. I am very happy with dvb-c for 2 years. (PCI-Card) On monday I will see, if dvb-t (cinergy-t2) works.(in Munich starts dvb-t) Fortunately, the dvb-c card has an decoder. So I have no troubles with softdevice.
