I have another problem. VDR recordings are fine, but playing live TV through vdr-xine I get an audio stutter every 2 seconds or so. There are no errors on std-out or in the logs.

Any ideas?

have you tried with previous vdr-xine version ? (0.7.7) I had that kind of issue with recent (0.7.8+) vdr-xine + network patch.
