Hello,
what is the "primary device" good for?
Is it used as output device when using FF-Cards or is it used for channel scanning or what?
I don't have FF-Cards in my setup, and I am getting this error messages when starting VDR:
ERROR: invalid primary device number: 4 ERROR: no primary device found - using first device!
Everything is working in my setup, so I am just ignoring this error message. I just would like to know what this primary device is good for.
Is it save to disable the primary device using the DVBSETUP patch?
