Sorry to bother this list but maybe someone could help me.
I´m using vdr1.4.7 on a Suse10.3 with one FF-DVB-S-Card (technotrend rev.1.3) and one budget DVB-T (winTV nova). Everything worked well until yesterday. When I turned on the TV there was no output on the TV and when one timer started recording vdr terminated and runvdr tried to start it again - but the videosignal didn´t come up.
/var/log/message gives
vdr: [4524] switching device 2 to channel 16 Jul 21 18:28:41 vdr vdr: [4524] timer 2 (16 1813-1850 'Wunderbare Reise des kle Jul 21 18:28:41 vdr vdr: [4524] Title: 'Wunderbare Reise des kleinen Nils Holge Jul 21 18:28:41 vdr vdr: [4524] record /video/Wunderbare_Reise_des_kleinen_Nils Jul 21 18:28:41 vdr vdr: [4524] cFileName::SetOffset: removing zero-sized file Jul 21 18:28:41 vdr vdr: [4524] recording to '/video/Wunderbare_Reise_des_klein Jul 21 18:28:41 vdr vdr: [4537] transfer thread started (pid=4524, tid=4537) Jul 21 18:28:41 vdr vdr: [4538] receiver on device 2 thread started (pid=4524, Jul 21 18:28:41 vdr vdr: [4539] file writer thread started (pid=4524, tid=4539) Jul 21 18:28:41 vdr vdr: [4540] recording thread started (pid=4524, tid=4540) Jul 21 18:28:41 vdr vdr: [4541] TS buffer on device 2 thread started (pid=4524, Jul 21 18:28:49 vdr vdr: [4533] frontend 1 timed out while tuning to channel 16 Jul 21 18:28:50 vdr vdr: [4524] max. latency time 1 seconds Jul 21 18:29:12 vdr vdr: [4539] ERROR: video data stream broken Jul 21 18:29:12 vdr vdr: [4539] initiating emergency exit
This happens every minute. When I deleted the timer vdr didn´t exit anymore and one could watch recordings and the channels from the DVB-T-device, but all satelite-channels were gone.
The LNB seems alright for I can watch the satelite-channels with my old external reciver.
It seems to me, that the tuner on the FF-card is done in?! Or is ther another explanation for this behavior? I didn´t update the kernel or change the driver.
Thank you in advance for any advice
