It would be a big help if you posted your problems scanning channels on NA sats on the v4l mailing list. http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linux-dvb
We've (meaning NA) needed a new, properly working scanner for years but so far no luck. However, the more people who voice this is a problem, the better our chances of getting a resolution.
